KS1 Newsletter- 1.7.22
KS1 have worked have this week and have really impressed us with their attitude to learning.
Year One have worked on letter writing in English, they have written a letter to Sunny the Meerkat and have researched information about African animals.
Maths the focus has been on money, they now understand what each coin is worth and can recognise the differences between them.
Year Two have worked on Meerkat Mail too and they have written a diary entry about a range of places.
Then in Maths they worked on Time and position and direction.
Science for KS1 has been identifying and classifying different animals such as reptiles, amphibians and mammals.
Geography they have compared Kenya and the UK- looking at climate, landscape and animals.
Next Tues is the Year Two reading event in the garden, please come to the top gate at 2.30pm

7th-Yr 2 Skipping festival- please wear PE kit
8th- Sports phase event-please wear PE kit (No parents due to staffing requirements)
11th- Sports phase event- please wear PE kit (No parents due to staffing requirements)
13th- KS1 Big Swing details to follow
21st July- Break up for summer term
