KS1 – Newsletter – 15.01.21

Thank-you from the Key Stage 1 Team!

Well done to everyone this week for their amazing attitude to learning and getting on with all their home learning tasks. Year 1 have been busy retelling the story of The Little Red Riding Hood and creating their own version of the story, whilst Year 2 have been looking at the story of The Snail and The Whale. In Maths, Year 1 have been learning to tell the time to o’clock and half past and in Year 2 they have been looking at sharing and division using arrays.

Information for parents

The Whiterose math’s site have provided parents / carers with free downloadable books. These may be helpful if your child has found a particular area of the maths curriculum challenging or they would like to apply to their newly learnt skills into other contexts.

Update on zoom calls

Thank-you to all those children who have been coming on our zoom calls. It is lovely to see everything you have been doing and we hope you have enjoyed our activities this week.

From next week, our zoom calls will run Monday to Thursday. Please continue to use the Key Stage 1 email to send in any work or questions you may have. 

We would like to say a HUGE thank-you to everyone, for continuing to support you child at home. We really appreciate it.
