KS1, Reception, Nurture Golden Ticket trip to Leeds Art Gallery

Some children from KS1, Nurture and Reception were selected to attend the Golden Ticket trip to Leeds Art Gallery. 

We created our own sketchbooks and began by drawing a portrait of ourselves inside. We then became ‘Art Detectives’ and looked closely at pieces of art to draw particular features. We visited different exhibitions in the art gallery, including the cinema room! We learnt about different pieces of art and use our inference skills to find clues within the pieces of art to try and discover their stories.
