KS1-Sports Day and Cannon Hall

Friendly reminder it is Sports Day tom- Wed 19th June 

On Wednesday 19th June, all children will be taking part in their sports day.  KS1 and EYFS will be participating in their events between 1:00pm and 3:00pm.

Please can you ensure your children come to school in their P.E kits (including trainers) and a jumper labelled with their name. During the day, children will have access to refreshments and will not require any additional water bottles.

You are welcome to bring grandparents and other family members to the sports day. In order to ensure the safety of the children, please enter the school through the top pedestrian gate (where Year 5 and 6 exit the school). During the event, please cheer on your child and their team but it is important that you stay in the space provided for spectators.

In addition to this, there will be a BBQ serving hot food as well as some refreshments. These will incur a small cost and can be served using cash or card. Any money raised on the day will be used to purchase new PE resources to support the children’s learning. As friendly reminder, these are for spectators only and children will be given their own refreshments during the event.

Due to the classrooms becoming therapeutic classrooms, we will have a very limited number of seats available. If you have a chair or blanket at home, please bring it along with you.

-Children to wear school uniform

-Bring their own packed lunch/drink- (unless pupil premium)

-Weather dependant- please bring hats, suncream

-Please be on time, we will be leaving straight away
