KS1 Trip to Cannon Hall Farm
KS1 Visit to Cannon Hall Farm
Dear Parents/Carers,
As part of our English/Science work next term, we are going on an educational visit to Cannon Hall Farm on Monday 25th April.
Cannon Hall is an award winning attraction sitting in the beautiful Pennine foothills. The children will have the opportunity to see the day to day workings of a modern farmyard including tractors and farm machinery during the working day. Other attractions include a milking parlour with regular milking demonstrations and a Rare Breeds barn. There is a variety of activities for them to enjoy including a huge playground, plus sheep and ferret racing. The trip will provide the children with a vast amount of knowledge which will support them throughout their work next term as well as being a great day!
Children will leave school at 9:00am and will arrive back at school for 3.15pm (Traffic depending). As the trip takes up the full day, children will be provided with a packed lunch and a drink. Children can bring their own packed lunch if they want. Children will not need to bring any money. All pupils must wear school uniform for the trip.
The cost of this trip is £15 to cover the farm entry and travel costs. If your child is Pupil Premium, this will be £7.50. Please pay via Parent Pay by 11.4.22.
If you have any questions about the visit, please do not hesitate to contact any member of the KS1 team.
