KS1 – World Book Day!

KS1 had the best day yesterday to celebrate World Book Day 2023!

Our theme for the day was based all around fairy-tales, in particular the story of the ‘The Gingerbread Man’.

We started our day in true KS1 style with a fashion show, parading our outfits and busting our best dancing moves!

We then spent the rest of the day on rotation between our three KS1 classrooms; baking delicious gingerbread men, crafting our own gingerbread houses and outfits, and acting out the story in what can only be described as some Oscar-worthy performances!

We ended the day with a visit from some fabulous mystery readers, some of who even brought us in a tasty treat.
