KS1 enjoyed a fantastic day out to Bridlington. We ate delicious ice-creams which were extremely yummy before heading to the Lidos. At the Lidos we took of our socks and shoes and paddled. It felt cold to start with but soon warmed up as we played and splashed in the water. Some of us got very wet! Next we headed to the lifeboat station where we learnt all about the ‘Royal National Lifeboat Institution’. It was interesting to see the lifeboats and discover the duties of a lifeguard. Finally, we ate our lunch on the beach before digging and building sandcastles. We even buried Mr Morgan’s feet! Overall we had a fun packed day full of laughter and learning!
