Last day leaving arrangements – Year 6 send off!

On Friday (19.07.24), our Year 6 children will be leaving Cookridge Primary for the final time and we want to send them out in style!

As all Year 6s have permission to walk home alone, they will be leaving 5 minutes before the end of the school day (15.15). The rest of the pupils of Cookridge will line the playground and clap and cheer them out to send them on their way to high school. This means Year 6 pupils will be leaving from the main playground gates just before the rest of the schools’ usual hometime routine.

We would love as many Year 6 parents/carers as possible to join the end at the gate and other parents as well to be there to clap them out. Please ensure our children are able to walk on the paths outside the school though!

Year 6 parents, if your child is at Beehive on friday evening we will ensure they still take part.
