LKS2 – C4 – Science

We explored the digestive system and the important role it plays in helping keep us healthy. To start with, we linked to our previous topic, and reminded ourselves of the reasons why animals including humans need food. Then, we explored the different organs necessary for the process of digestion. We used a variety of food and resources to represent the process by making poo! The food passed through the stomach (zip lock bag), the small intestine (tights), the large intestine and finally out as faeces.
