LKS2 – Class 4 & 7 – PE

In gymnastics this week, we recapped our previous skills of jumps, balances and rolls. We practiced the three types of roll that we had learnt in the previous lesson – the barrel roll, straight roll and the forward roll and discussed how we can improve our technique with these. We then progressed our learning by incorporating all three of these skills into a routine using the apparatus. We performed a balance for 5 seconds, then a jump from the apparatus and ended with one of the rolls. We worked in teams to provide feedback to one another on our execution of each skill.
