LKS2 – Class 5 & 7 – English

This week in English, we started looking at prefixes, suffixes and root words. We discussed how prefixes and suffixes can change the meaning of a root word, and practised adding some prefixes and suffixes using spelling rules. Then we worked as a group to investigate lots of different words. We cut the words up to show the prefix/root word/suffix and labelled each part of the word.
