LKS2 – Class 5 and Class 7 – Maths

This week, Miss Evans’ maths group have continued learning about the perimeter of 2D shapes. On Tuesday and Wednesday they were faced with a variety of mystery shapes, which they had to calculate the perimeter of. The children measured each side carefully with a ruler, and recorded the length in cm. Finally, they found the sum of all the sides to calculate the perimeter! All children showed excellent measuring skills and teamwork throughout.
