LKS2 – Forest School

This morning pupils have been busy little Vikings preparing for our parent event this afternoon. Children have cut and split firewood, made and cooked soup and bread, whittle writing implements for parents to try writing using runes and lit and maintained two fires suitable for cooking on. On the field, children were trained in how to fight like a Viking warrior; learning the art of combat and battle tactics. We are all very excited to showcase our Viking crafts, skills and knowledge to parents this afternoon!
