LKS2 – Happy Easter!

Happy Easter to all our brilliant LKS2 children and their families!

We hope you are all keeping safe, and enjoying the wonderful weather we are having. It’s been a strange few weeks and we have really missed seeing you all every day. But it has been lovely to hear from some of you about the fantastic work you have been doing at home!

Well done to Sam in Class 5 who has been very busy. Along with listening to stories and joining in with Mrs Durrant’s music lesson, Sam has also made a picture using natural materials that he gathered on a walk.

Max in Class 7 has also been busy doing forest school activities! As well as this he’s written an acrostic poem about a pharaoh, and compared Ancient Egypt with the modern world. Brilliant work, Max!

We’ve also heard from Yasmine in Class 6. She’s been doing lots of crafts and science, including making her very own pyramid! Also from Class 6, Yahya sent some brilliant pictures of his work on the Ancient Egyptians:

Thank you to all of you for getting in touch, and to everyone else (parents and children!) who has been working hard 🙂

Weekly challenge

Every week, one of your teachers is going to set you a challenge! This week’s challenge is a creative one from Miss Evans:

Can you create a boiled egg character? Simply hard boil an egg for about 12 minutes, leave it to cool, and then decorate it in any way you wish. Look at these examples for some inspiration:

Please send us your photos, we would love to see them and put them on our next post for everyone to enjoy!

In other news, have you seen the fantastic music video made by your very own teachers yet? We loved putting this together and hope it will put a smile on your face. Watch it below!

Keep smiling, working hard and most importantly stay safe!

From the LKS2 team 🙂
