What a start to the school year in Lower Key Stage 2!

We have continued our mission to improve our pond area this week, by researching and designing new plans for our school pond. In English, we have written some very persuasive letters to local business asking if they could help redevelop our pond through donations, resources and/or volunteers.

In Maths year 3/4 have been focusing on place value, enjoying problem solving and reasoning tasks that explore the value of each digit in 3 and 4 digit numbers.

In Science, we had so much fun playing games to identify features and characteristics of living things. We then applied this knowledge to figure out our mystery animals, using classification keys.
