What a marvellous week it has been in LKS2!
In swimming, well done to our swimmers of the week! We were so proud of the progress you have made in swimming. Their progress has been clearly seen by our staff and the swimming teachers.
In science, the children continued their investigations about light in science. They worked in teams to notice that light is reflected from surfaces. To do this, they tried to shine a light from their torch onto a target without directly pointing to the target. They achieved this by using mirrors and investigating reflection.
Yesterday, we had a fantastic World Book Day. Each KS2 class wrote their own version of a Julia Donaldson book. Then, they performed their stories to Reception and KS1. They were fantastic and we all enjoyed seeing their love for reading flourish.
We hope you have a lovely weekend. Monday (11.03) will be PPA day, so children will need to be in normal school uniform.
