LKS2 – Science – Class 7

Today in Science we excavated our fossils! We each became palaeontologists and used specific tools to remove our hardened plaster mixture from the salt dough that we made a few weeks back. We uncovered perfect insect fossils which we studied, in detail, with magnifying glasses. We consolidated our rocks and fossils topic with a Kahoot quiz. Lastly, we were able to successfully sort information explaining how a fossil is formed, the various types of soil and their uses and the different types of rocks and how they are formed.
