LKS2 – Useful Information

It has been fantastic to welcome our LKS2 children back in to school this week and see how excited they are to learn. They have already shown great enthusiasm for the year ahead and we’re all looking forward to a successful year.

Below I have outlined some key information and changes for this year and, as a phase, we will regulary update our class pages with any new information and events as and when necessary and these will be communicated through the school app. Please ensure you have followed your child’s new class so you get the relevant information. 

Start and End of Day Procedures

All LKS2 children will enter and leave through the playground gates (Class 4 through the main gate, Classes 6 and 7 through the smaller gate).

Start Time – 8:40 – 8:50

Finish Time – 15:20 (all children will leave at this time)

Timetable

The LKS2 pages have been updated with a new timetable that outlines when children need to come to school in either thier Forest School clothing or PE kit. Due to some timetabelling changes, pupils will no longer need to wear PE kits on a PPA day. We will continue to have a Forest School session at least once every two weeks. Key Dates

All key dates throughout the year for LKS2 will be added to the school calendar and will also appear on your child’s class page. Please see the dates below which have already been added.

15.09.22 – LKS2 Parent Event – Meet the Teacher – 3:20pm.

13.10.22 – LKS2 Parent Event – Times Tables/MTC Workshop – 2pm. 

21.11.22 – 23.11.22 – Year 4 Robinwood Residential

15.12.22 – LKS2 Parent Event – Christmas Production – 2pm.
