LKS2 – Newsletter – 11/09/20

Lower Key stage Two have really enjoyed being back in the classroom this week, and have settled into new school life quickly. 

In English this week, we have been focussing on our handwriting and we have already seen fantastic progress in our presentation. In our writing, we have been recalling our highlights from the summer and it has been a pleasure to hear all about the fantastic things everyone has done. 

 This week in Miss Boyd’s maths group, we have been learning all about place value. We have been discussing what we can remember from year 3 but also learning more about four digit numbers in depth whilst comparing and ordering various numbers. 

We ended our week with fun filled activities in green time, it has been great to see so many smiles and can’t wait for next week! 

Next week (w/c 14.09.20) will be starting our timetable on week one, so please can all year 3/4 pupils attend school in their PE Kits on Monday and Wednesday.
