LKS2 weekly update

Hello from the LKS2 team, and happy Friday! We hope you’re all well and have enjoyed another fun and interesting week. Your teachers have been working hard both in and out of school this week. We have received some lovely emails telling us what you’ve been up to…

Yahya has completed the reading comprehensions, and written up his answers in beautiful handwriting. He’s also written a letter warning a friend about a Viking invasion!

Bailey was very happy to have completed ALL the worksheets set for the last 2 weeks…what an amazing achievement! He’s also been working hard on a Viking fact file that has taken him a fair few weeks, but is nearly complete!

It has also been great to see how many of you are still going on TTRS, Spelling Shed and Lexia. Remember to try to login when you can, even if it’s just for a few minutes.

On Monday, we will be updating the home learning page again. This time, the work that we set will be to complete over 3 weeks – so spread it out and take your time! As always, there are lots of other options for home learning and we encourage you to do what works best for YOU. This may include using online resources, and spending time getting creative both indoors and outdoors! Whatever you get up to, we would love to hear about it – send an email to info@cookridge.leeds.sch.uk

Finally, the weekly challenge! This week, your challenge is very simple – try something new. This might be trying a new skill, watching a new film, eating something new, or even doing something to help out at home. We can’t wait to see what you get up to!
