LKS2 – Year 4 – Writing

This week, Year 4 have been exploring a new style of poetry – ‘blackout’ poems. On Tuesday, we worked in groups and read lots of different texts about climate change. We thought about how to create a powerful, important message by crossing out things from text and choosing the most ambitious words. On Wednesday, we created a blackout poem independently, including decorating them with designs which add to the message.
