North West Trust Cup football tournament

On Monday and Monday 8 and 15th, a group of Year 5 /6 and 3/4 children were invited to take part in the North West Trust Cup football tournament at Ireland Wood Primary School with several schools from the local area. Each game consisted of 7 minute matches with points that were awarded depending on the outcome. As a team, their communication, enthusiasm and support for each other was fantastic and they represented Cookridge brilliantly. We were very proud of all of them. 

The overall results were superb with the Year 3/4’s coming 3rd overall and the Year 5/6’s coming 1st.
