Nurture Group – Forest School

We had a wonderful time in the school garden area and linked our session to our current topic of growing. After talking about how and where plants grow, we helped Mr Gamble clear a raised bed of weeds using trowels before raking it over. After touching and discussing the texture of wheat seeds, we then planted them in the hope they will grow so that we can harvest the seeds, grind our own flour and make bread using the fire pit.
