Nurture Group – Forest School

Today in Forest School pupils in Nurture Group learnt about the book The Very Hungry Caterpillar. After reading the story, pupils enjoyed creating their very own caterpillars using a range of materials and resources. Afterwards, pupils, along with their caterpillar creations, searched the Forest School area for any of the food items from the book. Once located, and after counting how many fruits there were, their caterpillars enjoyed eating the food. Some pupils then took their learning one step further by using the mud kitchen to create even more food items from the story for their hungry friends!
