Nurture Group – Forest School

Today our Forest School session promoted Children’s Mental Health Week. We discussed and looked at different emotions and how these are expressed on people’s faces. We used the sandpit to create faces which showed our emotions using natural materials and loose parts. Pupils were then free to choose an area of the Forest School space to play in where they felt happy. Needless to say, the slack line, tree house and mud kitchen were very popular areas!
