Poetry Slam competition

Introducing the 2024 Cookridge Primary Poetry Slam.

We invite all children to learn a poem of their own choice.  (This is optional)

All the children will have an opportunity to perform in front of their class and the winners will be invited to perform at the Summer Fayre on  Sat 22nd June.

There will be prizes!

You can choose one from the list below or write your own. Please encourage your child to learn it from heart.

They can learn one verse or the complete poem. 

The class performances will be starting from the 12th June till 19th June-check with your class teacher for the date.
