Reception and KS1 Home learning update and Science idea

Hello everybody. We have had some wonderful home learners this week who have been showing off their super skills. Thank you to Jack for his lovely work to commemorate VE day, Nikan for showing off his wonderful tent making skills and Lily for her essay writing. Lily wrote this essay after she completed some work on the Oak academy online classroom all about the Shang Dynasty.  Amazing everyone keep it up!

This weeks Reception/KS1 science work is all about Life Cycles. Below is a link to an excellent task created by “Outstanding Science” which is a brilliant website for science tasks. As with all the resources we suggest, it’s all about the discussions the children have during the task and then the further discussions that is sparks. On the document, there is a suggested “Discussion” box that has some excellent questions to ask the kids.

Once you’ve finished, can you think of any other life cycles? Could you show us a new life cycle in a creative way?
