Reception/KS1 Science – Animals and living things

Hello, below are some resources linked to KS1’s new science topic but the tasks will be brilliant for the Reception children to have a go at as well.

The resources come from “Planet Science” and the simple and fun tasks are designed as a start point for the children’s learning.

The resource has all the subject knowledge to engage discussion with the children, whilst completing the task, and then has suggested further ideas and questions that can be explored in lots of different ways. Perhaps you could explore a pond near you to see what wildlife lives there and then record your findings or even take a walk in the woods to find and classify the different types of wildlife you can see?
