Staffing Changes and Classes for September 2023
As we come to the end of another school year we have some staff that are leaving us and new staff joining.
Mrs Horsley is retiring after working stalwartly at Cookridge for the last 25 years. We have tried everything to keep her for a few more years but sadly the call of retirement and grandchildren is too great. She will be sorely missed.
We are also saying good bye to 3 of our amazing teachers – Miss Evans who is leaving to be an Educational Psychologist, Miss Bennett who is relocating down south and Miss Robinson who is moving to Australia. We would love them to stay as they are Cookridge through and through but are fully supportive of their future plans (and maybe a bit envious) and wish them all the best. Miss Roche will also be leaving to take up a full time teaching position.
We are welcoming back Miss Devine after a year of travelling and Mr Maldonado to support us with our growing Nurture and SEND provision as Mrs Kerr goes on maternity leave. Miss Mehboob will be joining the class teacher team and we are welcoming a new member of staff Miss Nodding.
Children will move into their new classes next week for 3 transition mornings.
