UKS2 – Class 8, 9 & 10 – Forest School
Today in Forest School, UKS2 braved the wind and rain and took to the garden to begin their project for the year. Using natural resources, the children will be designing, making and wearing their own Anglo-Saxon weapon belt. Today the children revisited their previous learning in Forest School, using bow saws to fashion the buckle of their belt. Afterwards, they shaped their buckle using whittling knives and potato peelers. The children displayed excellent recall of their Forest School skills, and are looking forward to their next session.
