UKS2 – Class 8 & 9 – Maths

In maths, Miss Barnicoat’s class have been developing their skills at calculating and estimating volume. Using multilink to support their learning, the children were challenged to answer a series of questions about volume. Then, they were asked to create their own – more complex – shapes, and were challenged to calculate the volumes of these too! There were some very statuesque shapes, and some excellent maths produced by everyone. Well done!
