Today, the children enjoyed a fantastic cross-curricular day.
In Forest School, the children enjoyed a carousel of activities. This included: Forest School games, song, rhymes, use of the treehouse and the slack ropes.
In Geography, the children developed their understanding of maps and created their own! They used rice to draw out a map of their own which they will use for four and six figure grid references.
In French, the children begun their ‘This is France’ project. This included recapping how to describe where countries and landmarks are in relation to each other by using the key phrase ‘est un voisin de…’ Then, they applied this vocabulary to researching Paris and describing where key landmarks are.
