UKS2 – Forest School
What terrific sessions we’ve enjoyed today! To build-up our skillset for our upcoming Bazaar where we will attempt to make an Islamic stew, groups were challenged with lighting and managing a fire. Pupils had to build correct fire lays, use their knowledge of the fire triangle (oxygen, heat and fuel) to maintain and grow their fire and problem solve along the way! If successful in creating a hot enough fire, children were able to roast marshmallows to make s’mores to enjoy. Mr Gamble was immensely proud to see, without his help, every single group achieve the challenge and enjoy their tasty snack. Well done UKS2! Roll on the stew making!
