UKS2 – Forest School Green Time
This afternoon, pupils in UKS2’s Green Time group decided to make bonfire chocolate apples using the fire pit. After lighting a fire and getting it hot enough, children took it in turns to use the tripod to melt chocolate using a pan filled with water. Once it was nice and runny, pupils cut apples and created a handle using a lollipop stick. Carefully, pupils then dipped their apples into the melted chocolate and then into a bowl of sprinkles. As soon as they had set, everyone enjoyed their creations in the brilliant Autumnal sunshine.
