UKS2 – French

Today, the children learnt how to say “quarter past” and “quarter to” in French!

First, they recapped how to say “o’clock” and “half past” in French from their LKS2 knowledge. Then, they built on this vocabulary by learning how to say “quarter past” and “quarter to” and played a matching game in their table groups to practise their pronunication and to present sentences.

Finally, they read an authentic email outlining the details of a school trip for staff. They had to answer comprehension questions in their book.
