UKS2 – French

Today, the children investigated school uniform in France. This engaged with our topic including fashion and clothing as well as reflecting on different cultures. Over the course of the lesson, the children interacted with different articles about the French Education Minister’s plan to introduce a French school uniform, on a trial basis. The children discussed and made notes about secularism and the proposed uniform ban. Finally, they presented their research and their opinions, as part of a respectful and tolerant environment.
