UKS2 – Geography

Today, the pupils in UKS2 went on a local walk and created their own sketch maps.

After having discussed the key features of sketch maps, the children worked together to generate their own sketch maps whilst walking around our local area around school. Also, as we walked around the children took notes of any human or physical features they could see and consider the importance they have to the local community.
