UKS2 – Newsletter – 04.03.2022

It has been a superb week in UKS2!

During computing on Tuesday, Class 8 practiced writing, creating and generating our own algorithms with Beebots. After setting obstacle courses, they navigated around chairs, through space and between planets! The children then analysed, corrected and re tried our revised algorithms.

Thursday was world book day. The children completed challenges based on our theme: Twisted Fairy tales. After researching our class stories, they twisted their tales, created their puppets and sets and started their animation. Then, using 2animate on Purple Mash, the children completed their own stop motion animation and shared them in assembly.

Finally, our learnatics for this week are: Rosie and Tommy (Class 8), Jake and Emily (Class 9) and Archie and Esther (Class 10).
