UKS2 – Newsletter – 13.5.22
It has been a monumental week in UKS2. KS2 SATs are over for another year and we couldn’t be prouder of the hard work, determination, effort and resilience that Year 6 have demonstrated this week. After a roller coaster 2 years, the children have epitomised the Cookridge ethos and have worked tirelessly towards SATs. They are a real credit to the school and themselves. Well done all of you!
In computing, Year 5 continued their work on search technology. Linking to our current topic of WWII, the children had to answer a series of questions about D-Day using a search engine of their choice to help them. We discussed the processes of a search engine and how the key words they used in their searches impacted the order and complexity of their search results.
Finally, our learnatics this week are: Harsha and Sevi (Class 8), Lily (Class 9) and the whole of Year 6. Well done to you all, you’re amazing. Ooh ahh, you’re a star!!
