UKS2 – Year 5 – French

Yesterday, Year 5 learnt key phrases to describe where places around town can be found in relation to each other.

First, they used a bilingual dictionary to identify the names of new places around town (like: la patinoire, la banque et la bibliotheque).

Then, the children worked in pairs to ask where (“ou-est”) places around town where; and they responded by describing whether the place was next to (a cote de) or opposite (en face de) another place in town.
