Over the past two days, pupils across LKS2 have taken part in Viking experience days in school. One of these activities has been battle tactics with Olaf. Olaf was a wordsmith from the Viking era who came to Cookridge to share his stories and knowledge about Vikings with the children. During his time with them he shared knowledge about cloths, family, Viking gods, traditions and of course battle tactics. Children were given spears and shiels and enjoyed role playing different tactics that were seen during Viking battles. The children had a fantastic time with Olaf.
