Wellbeing Wednesday – Forest School
In our Wellbeing Wednesday session today we began by checking in with each other. We created faces using natural resources which showed our feelings before confidently discussing our feelings within the group. Then, pupils played with our newest Forest School resource – hammocks! Pupils worked together to put them up before enjoying some tree bathing and mindfulness breathing. Afterwards, it was agreed in our review that spending time outside in nature and amongst trees was beneficial for us and how we all felt super happy and the impact of the session on our wellbeing was, to quote a child, ‘amazing!’
