Wellbeing Wednesday – Forest School
We have had two great first sessions of the year this morning. Both groups worked on discussing and defining wellbeing. We used loose parts to create faces about different emotions, including how we felt now and what had caused this emotion. The younger pupils then drew items around a template of what makes them happy. We had lots of great discussions about the things they had drawn and why our feelings can change because of them. Some of the things drawn were pizza, teddies, family members, pets, favourite clothes and friends! Meanwhile, older pupils used loose parts to create themselves and the things that make them happy. After discussing these in detail and why the impact on our emotions, we then looked forward and began discussing future sessions together as a group.
