Year 2 Class trip to Golden Acre

Year 2 visited Golden Acre park to enjoy a day all about geography, Forest Schools and mental wellbeing. We took part in the annual “Cookridge Big Splash” competition and made sure the ducks were full of delicious bird seed. We spotted human and physical features of the park and compared them to the features at school. After more splashing, we went to feed the squirrels and did some reflecting underneath the trees about what makes us happy. A brilliant day out!
