Year 3 – Class 5 -Science

Yesterday in science, Class 5 were thinking about the impact that humans have on the earth. We discussed how human actions can affect the habitats of living things, and that this can pose dangers to those living things. We learned that global warming is causing ice caps in the Arctic to melt. To investigate the impact this may have, we made buildings out of multilink and placed them in a tray full of water. Then we added lots of ice cubes, and watched as the ice cubes melted. Over time, the water level rose.
