Year 4 – Class 6 – English

We have begun using the text ‘The Animals of Farthing Wood’ by Colin Dann in our English sessions this week. It’s a tale of bravery, friendship and resilience where a group of animals have to leave their homes on a perilous journey in search of a new one. Today, we read the beginning of Chapter Three and used our inference skills to make predicitions on what will happen next using clues and evidence in the text as well as our background knowledge.
