Year 5/6 – Class 7/8/9 – Football Tournament

Yesterday evening, seven pupils from UKS2 attended a Pinnacle run football tournament at Rothwell Primary School. Through the group stages they did fantastically well, conceding only one goal and winning all four games. This put them through to a semi-final against East Ardsley Primary School. It was an excellent game that ended 1-1 after extra-time which led us to penalties. Ultimately, Cookridge were extremely unlucky to miss out on a final spot after losing 4-3 on penalties. All of the players should be extremely proud of themselves and the way they represented our school! Well done boys!
