Year 5 – Classes 7 and 8 – Poetry Wonderland

It has been weird and wonderful in year 5 this week! We have been creating poems for a competition called ‘Poetry Wonderland’. We came up with hundreds of ‘wild, wonderful and weird’ ideas but eventually, through a fair vote, decided on our top three. These were:

• Underwater Garden
• My Toast Can Talk
• Turtles Playing Football on the Moon

The children have shown true creativity and we have been amazed at their fantastic poetry writing skills!
